Lore & Background
Within the lore of Destiny, the Witness is defined strictly by its role in the overarching conflict. It stands opposite to the Traveler, representing a force that seeks to impose a final, static order upon the universe. The entity does not merely fight; it orchestrates events across the Light and Darkness saga. Its presence marks the culmination of a long-standing struggle where the goal is to reshape reality into a specific form known as the Final Shape. This state represents a perfect, unchanging conclusion to all things.
