Background

He fights with a shotgun loaded with Nichirin steel pellets and a Nichirin wakizashi. Genya is the younger brother of the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and went through the same Final Selection as Tanjiro. He is mortally wounded in the battle against Kokushibo and makes peace with his brother before he dies.
