Fictional character biography
T-Ray is seen at the Hellhouse, where Deadpool and other mercenaries receive assignments. The two constantly battle to prove who is the bigger man and the better mercenary, with T-Ray making vague threats while Deadpool responds with 1980s pop-culture references. T-Ray is a sadistic, remorseless killer who has no qualms about killing children. While meditating naked among his victims, several names tattooed on his back are visible, all but one crossed off; the remaining name is Wade Wilson, Deadpool's real name.
T-Ray and Deadpool clash at the Hellhouse, and T-Ray burns off Wade's mask. Deadpool later frees Typhoid Mary and attempts to redeem her, but fails, falling into depression. After a night with Siryn that turns out to be Typhoid Mary in disguise, Deadpool returns home and is challenged by T-Ray. T-Ray reveals formidable magical abilities and defeats Deadpool easily, leaving him broken.
Months later, Deadpool learns of his thought-deceased wife Mercedes Wilson. T-Ray crucifies one of Deadpool's friends on the Hellhouse steps, kidnaps Mercedes, and issues a challenge.
