Amity Park
Danny's hometown, a city overrun by ghosts thanks to the Fenton Portal.
Amity Park is the hometown of Danny Fenton and his friends and the main setting of Danny Phantom. Because of the Fentons' ghost portal it has become a hotspot for ghost attacks. It is a fairly large city with a downtown of skyscrapers, reminiscent of Chicago, San Francisco or Philadelphia.

Background
The city has a City Hall, an observatory, a research lab, a museum, schools, police and fire departments, restaurants and a shopping mall, and a river separates it from the town of Elmerton ("D-Stabilized"). The show never names its state; episodes rule out California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin, and hints like the nearby Lake Eerie point to the Midwest or Great Lakes. Vlad Masters lives in Wisconsin, not in Amity Park, at least until he becomes its mayor.
