OG's Counter-Strike division began in December 2019, when the organisation announced a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. They signed veterans Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt and Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså, along with Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, Issa "ISSAA" Murad, and Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski. Casper "ruggah" Due joined as coach in January 2020. In September 2020, ruggah was implicated in the coaching bug scandal, leading to a ban from one Valve-sponsored Major Championship by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) and Valve. The roster saw multiple changes over the years: NBK- was removed in February 2021, ISSAA followed shortly after, and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen was signed in March 2021, with Shahar "flameZ" Shushan joining a month later. In January 2022, OG traded Aleksib for Nemanja "nexa" Isaković from G2 Esports. After failing to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, OG benched valde and niko in May 2022, replacing them with Adam "NEOFRAG" Zouhar and Maciej "F1KU" Miklas. Later, mantuu was replaced by Abdulkhalik "degster" Gasanov. On 8 June 2023, niko ended his stint as a stand-in, becoming a free agent. On 19 June 2023, OG announced plans to rebuild around F1KU, nexa, and Iulian "regali" Harjău, following flameZ's departure to Team Vitality. On 20 June, NEOFRAG and degster were transfer-listed. On 30 June 2023, OG signed regali, Nils "k1to" Gruhne, and Dion "FASHR" Derksen, with nexa returning to the active roster. NEOFRAG transferred to Into The Breach on 11 July 2023.

In Their Own Story

In December 2019, OG entered Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by signing a roster of experienced players: NBK-, valde, Aleksib, ISSAA, and mantuu. The team brought on coach ruggah in January 2020, but his involvement in the coaching bug scandal led to a ban from one Valve-sponsored Major. Over the next few years, the lineup shifted repeatedly. NBK- and ISSAA were removed in early 2021, replaced by niko and flameZ. In January 2022, Aleksib was traded to G2 Esports for nexa. After missing qualification for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, valde and niko were benched in May 2022, and NEOFRAG and F1KU joined. Mantuu was later replaced by degster. By June 2023, the roster was largely rebuilt: flameZ left for Team Vitality, niko became a free agent, and NEOFRAG and degster were transfer-listed. OG then signed regali, k1to, and FASHR, with nexa returning to active duty. NEOFRAG moved to Into The Breach in July 2023.
