Child's Play 2 (1990)
Two years on, a rebuilt Chucky tracks Andy into foster care.
Child's Play 2 is a 1990 American supernatural slasher film written by Don Mancini and directed by John Lafia, the second entry in the Child's Play franchise after the 1988 original. Alex Vincent and Brad Dourif return as Andy Barclay and the voice of Chucky, joined by Christine Elise, Jenny Agutter, Gerrit Graham and Grace Zabriskie. Set two years after the first film, it follows the rebuilt doll as he hunts Andy, now placed in foster care, so that he can move his soul into the boy. Universal Pictures released it on November 9, 1990. Reviews were mixed, and it earned more than $35 million against a $13 million budget. Child's Play 3 followed in 1991.
