Synopsis
In the beginning, the primordial god's divine grace gave rise to Hua Ruyue and Bai Jiusi. After thousands of years of rivalry, Bai Jiusi suggested they undergo a love trial in the mortal world. A disagreement and a mistake caused him to lock away Hua Ruyue's abilities, leaving her stranded on Earth for a decade. When she returned, she imprisoned Bai Jiusi and threw the Nine Heavens into turmoil. Once he escaped and sought her out, Hua Ruyue destroyed herself out of spite. Four centuries later, Li Qingyue, a weak cultivator from the Jingyun Sect, weds Bai Jiusi. Her identical face to Hua Ruyue breeds suspicion, and Bai Jiusi constantly puts her to the test.
