Scărișoara Cave, located in the Apuseni Mountains of western Romania, is one of the largest ice caves in the region and is recognized as a show cave and a natural wonder of the country, often classified as a glacier cave. The cave sits at a significant altitude above sea level and features an entrance shaft that descends via metal stairs into a vast chamber known as the Great Hall. This hall contains a tall ice cliff overlooking a pool called the Pool of Ice.
