The Toy Castle is a Canadian children's television series that aired on Treehouse TV and other Canadian broadcasters from 2000 to 2003. Produced by Sound Venture Productions, it was inspired by the 1992 Christmas ballet special The Steadfast Tin Soldier. The series won a Gemini Award in 2003 for Best Preschool Series.

Freida, played by Ashley Barker, shares these traits. Papa Mouse, played by Micheal Flynn, is caring and has three children with his wife. Mama Mouse, played by Daiva Preston and Andrea Mislan, is shy. Little Mouse, played by Corinne Vessey, likes playing and imagining he is riding a horse; originally named Baby Mouse in the first season, his name was quietly changed to Little Mouse when two new siblings arrived. The Mouse Twins, never given official names, cry often and enjoy quiet things and swinging. The Dolly Bird, played by Sofia Costantini, wears extravagant make-up, loves dancing, and tends to be insecure about her dancing; she has appeared in the fewest episodes and is never mentioned on the official site.
