Premise

The series follows teenage twins Cally and Lance Stone, who find a comic book that provides clues about their future. They are drawn into a comic book world of danger and uncertainty, where they learn the Dark Oracle has a hidden agenda threatening their existence. The show blends live action with comic book style animation, as the twins confront their animated alter egos, Violet and Blaze, who can manipulate their future. Events in the comic book world affect the real world, and Cally and Lance must stay ahead of their dark counterparts to avoid an unpleasant fate. Violet and Blaze also attempt to escape into the real world. The second season shifted focus, with the comic book characters intervening directly and Dizzy and Sage learning about the comic and having their own experiences with it.
