Plot
The main characters are Cavegirl and her family: Dad, Mum, Big Sis, Gran, and Little Bro, along with other tribe members. Cavegirl is a pretty, feisty tomboy who begins to take an interest in boys and matures over the series. Big Sis is shallow and preoccupied with her appearance and male attention. Dad is a rugged, protective caveman who serves as tribe chief, while Mum is somewhat dozy, Gran is young at heart and eccentric, and Little Bro is curious and often annoys Cavegirl. In season 2, Dad leaves to find new hunting grounds and is replaced by a character called Chief. A flashback episode reveals that Dad left Mum in charge, but she lost a bet with the Chief of the Tribe to the North, causing the tribes to merge.
