The Red Grass (TV series)

The Red Grass was a British black and white science fiction children's television series broadcast on ITV in 1959. It followed ordinary young people struggling to understand and stop a deadly red grass that spreads worldwide and kills on contact. The serial was produced by Associated-Rediffusion and is considered lost, as no recordings of its six episodes are known to survive.
