Wolf It

Two wolf brothers host cartoons from their film vault.

Wolf It was a British children's puppet show produced by Kim Kinnie for Scottish Television, airing on CITV from 1993 to 1996 across four series. It spun off from the Saturday morning programme What's Up Doc?, featuring two English wolves named Bro and Bro who had appeared there regularly. Filmed at and around Maidstone television studios, the wolves lived in a film vault. The show replaced Rolf's Cartoon Club and, like its predecessor, included two Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons per episode, which ITV then owned. Series three and four were retitled Wolf It: The Nexxxt Generation. The wolves addressed each other as "Bro," and their real names were never heard due to noise masking any attempt to say them. Don Austen and John Eccleston voiced the characters, with Eccleston continuing for all Wolf It episodes despite being replaced on What's Up Doc? from series three onward.
