Wil Cwac Cwac

A Welsh duckling's adventures in rural Wales.

Wil Cwac Cwac, a Welsh-language animated series for children, debuted on S4C in 1982, produced by Siriol Animation. It drew from early 1930s children's books by Jennie Thomas and J. O. Williams, notably the 1931 Welsh title Llyfr Mawr y Plant. The show was set in a rural Welsh landscape populated by talking animals. An English version, Will Quack Quack, was made for international audiences, airing on Children's ITV in 1984 and 1986. Myfanwy Talog voiced all characters and narration in both languages.
