In Their Own Story
The air tastes of ash as Tim steps onto the crumbling stone bridge. To his left, a massive pillar ignites, the flames racing upward with terrifying speed. He presses right on the controller, and suddenly he is walking backward into the smoke, yet the fire continues to climb the wall ahead of him. It is a surreal dance; he retreats from danger while the world advances toward destruction. A falling beam crashes down in front of him, but because he moves against time's flow, he steps over the debris before it even hits the ground.
