Bayern Munich won the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 1966–67 season. They qualified by winning the DFB-Pokal in 1966. In the final, they beat Scottish club Rangers 1–0 with an extra-time goal from Franz Roth. This was Bayern's first European trophy.
