Lore & Background
The central conflict revolves around the DeLorean: Marty damages the car's fuel line, and without gasoline it cannot reach 88 mph to time-travel. Marty and Doc must find a way to push the vehicle to that speed while ensuring Doc survives his fated encounter with Buford. The narrative cleverly blends genres, using Western tropes like high-noon standoffs and train chases to solve a science fiction problem, ultimately relying on the ingenuity of both the scientist and the teenager to rewrite history.
