She wakes up in her 2015 home, hides from the McFly family, and faints after encountering her future self. At the end of Part III she reunites with Marty in 1985, and the text of the fax she kept from 2015 about Marty's firing disappears.
Reader's Guide
Jennifer Parker represents the human element within the high-concept sci-fi framework of Back to the Future. As a faction of one, her primary goal is maintaining the integrity of her relationship with Marty McFly while navigating the disruptions caused by time travel. She is not a warrior or a scientist, but her role as the emotional center makes her indispensable. Her involvement begins in 1985 as Marty's high school girlfriend, and in Part II she travels to 2015 with Marty and Doc. In the conflict between maintaining a stable history and correcting errors, Jennifer acts as a stabilizing force. In 2015 she faints after encountering her future self. She is the bridge between Marty's adventures and his return to normalcy, proving that even without time-traveling gadgets, courage and love can alter destiny.
