Griff Tannen is a character from the Back to the Future franchise, appearing in the 2015 timeline of Back to the Future Part II. He is the only known grandson of Biff Tannen and is part of a gang that also consists of Rafe "Data" Unger, Leslie "Spike" O'Malley and Chester "Whitey" Noguera. Griff continues the Tannen family's line of bullies in the Hill Valley of 2015. His role in the story highlights how the Tannen legacy persists into the future, though his plans ultimately fail due to his own arrogance.

In the 2015 of Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly's son Marty Jr. is due to be arrested for taking part in a robbery with Griff, Biff Tannen's grandson. Doc instructs Marty to switch places with the identical Marty Jr. and refuse Griff's offer, but Griff goads Marty into a fight by calling him "chicken", and a hoverboard chase follows. Griff and his gang are arrested instead, which saves Marty's future children.
