Arturo Amado

A name found in unverified lists, but not a confirmed Athletic Bilbao player.

Arturo Amado is not a former Athletic Bilbao player. No widely-known canon or official Athletic Club records list a player named Arturo Amado as having played for the club's first team.

Lore & Background

Arturo Amado appears on a list of foreign players in La Liga, specifically under the criteria for players born in Spain who were capped by a foreign national team. However, no official Athletic Club records confirm he ever played for the club's first team. His inclusion on such lists is likely an error or based on unverified data, as Athletic Bilbao is known for its policy of fielding only players of Basque origin, and no player by this name appears in the club's official history.
