Gameplay
Players choose among four distinct Vixen classes. The first resembles the original Vic Viper; the second is a twisted version with the Photon Missile. The third, similar to Metalion from Nemesis 2, offers Napalm Missile and Fire Blaster. The fourth, like the Sabel Tiger from Salamander, uses a 2-way missile approach and Ripple Laser. All classes can select either the classic Shield or the Force Field, which expires faster but protects from any direction. Option behavior can be set to original shadow movement, Fixed, or Rolling (as in Nemesis 2's Option Warrior). The game retains weapons from Nemesis 2 (Up Laser, Fire Blaster, Vector Laser) and Salamander (Meteor Laser, Screw Laser). It is the only Nemesis series game that visibly tracks the number of speed boosts. Upgrading weapons requires finding secret spots, similar to secret stages in Nemesis 2 and predictions in Salamander.
