Shimmer

Shimmer is a glowing, highly addictive drug from Zaun that gives its users a surge of strength, speed and durability, at the price of dependence and physical breakdown over time. Singed developed it through ruthless experiments, drawing on his study of Rio, a creature with regenerative powers, while chasing a way to push the human body beyond its limits. Silco controls the shimmer trade and hands the drug to his followers, turning them into loyal, enhanced enforcers, which is central to his hold over the undercity. Huck, a resident of Zaun, is shown as an addict, and Singed uses shimmer to heal a badly injured Jinx.
