Production
Liam Vickers, known for his 2D animated pilot CliffSide, pitched Murder Drones to Glitch Productions with concept art and story elements. He drew inspiration from the sci-fi and horror of Invader Zim and The X-Files, calling the series his love letter to the horror genre. Glitch aimed to explore mature concepts not typically associated with 3D animation. The series was animated using Unreal Engine.
