Plot

Caillou is curious about how many days remain until Christmas, so his father gives him a calendar that shows holiday traditions from different countries behind each window. He goes tobogganing, learns to ski, and celebrates Hanukkah with his friend Leo. After learning that some children lack toys, Caillou donates some of his old ones. His little sister Rosie joins the holiday fun, and when their mother offers to help her make gifts, Rosie insists on doing it herself.
