Summary
Each week, four actors entered a live sketch without having seen a script, guided only by their costumes. Upon entering, another actor greeted them with "Thank God you're here!" All other actors in the sketch followed a script, though improvisations could alter it. Sketches had no set ending; judge Dave Foley stopped them with a buzzer. One sketch per episode featured a surprise cameo by David Alan Grier. At the show's end, Foley chose a winner, who received a trophy. Unlike the Australian version, no honorable or dishonorable mentions were given.
