Fiona Goode Lineage
A mother's greed and a daughter's redemption define the fate of the witches.
Fiona Goode and her daughter Cordelia Foxx hold the title of Supreme one after the other in American Horror Story: Coven. Fiona, played by Jessica Lange, is the Supreme at the start of the season and Cordelia's estranged mother; Cordelia, played by Sarah Paulson, is the headmistress of Miss Robichaux's Academy.

Lore & Background
Fiona learns that she has terminal cancer and believes it is caused by a student rising to take her place as Supreme. She seeks immortality from Marie Laveau and murders Madison Montgomery, whom she takes for the next Supreme. An attack leaves Cordelia blind, and she develops the power of Second Sight. In the finale Cordelia passes all Seven Wonders and is crowned Supreme; Fiona, weakened by her daughter's ascension, dies in Cordelia's arms.
