Lore & Background

The colonists rebelled against Thomasin while her husband was away and left her for dead. She gave her soul to the witch Scáthach, violently retook control of the colony and moved it to the land where the farmhouse now stands. The disappearances at the house are her doing, and all of them fall in the same six-day lunar cycle in October. During the blood moon her mob sacrificed an earlier owner, Edward Philippe Mott, and it surrounds the house again when Shelby and Matt Miller live there.
