The Pforzheim Wilddogs are an American football club based in Pforzheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Their biggest achievement to date is reaching the German Football League (GFL), the country's top division, after winning the GFL2 South in 2024.
The team was founded in 1990 in Bretten, about 20 kilometers north of Pforzheim, and relocated to Pforzheim in 2000. In 2006, they earned promotion to the Regionalliga, the third tier, but stayed there for just one season. During the 2022 season, the Wilddogs went undefeated in the third-tier Regionalliga Südwest. They then won their promotion-round games against the champions of the southern and central leagues, moving up to the GFL2. In 2023, their first GFL2 season, they finished fourth. A year later, they won the GFL2 South title. Because a spot opened up in the GFL South, they were promoted without a playoff game. They are set to make their GFL South debut in the 2025 season.
