Premise
Casey Shraeger leaves the Vice unit to join the 2nd Precinct in New York City, working under Sergeant Harvey Brown. She is paired with Jason Walsh, whose former partner was killed on the very night Casey arrived. Brown selected Casey because he considers her uncorruptible: she comes from money and became a police officer out of a desire to do good, not for financial gain. Casey and Walsh team up to investigate the death of Walsh's old partner, who had a reputation for being crooked.
Along the way, they uncover secrets within the precinct. Henry Cole once operated under a different identity and pulled off an armored car heist. His partner, Allison Beaumont, turns out to be Walsh's girlfriend. The station also includes three other detectives.
Leo Banks wears a bulletproof vest at all times, terrified of dying like his father, grandfather, and uncle before him. His partner, Eric Delahoy, suffers from a brain tumor that causes hallucinations, but he keeps it secret because he fears treatment might kill or disable him. Eddie Alvarez considers himself a lone wolf and refers to himself in the third person. The show's finale left Delahoy's ultimate fate unknown.
