Iwrestledabearonce

American metalcore band known for chaotic genre-blending.

All percussion on the EP was done with a drum machine program because the band lacked a drummer during recording.[1] Before joining Iwrestledabearonce, guitarist Steven Bradley was a member of the Louisiana mathcore group Statues Cry Bleeding, which existed from around 2004 until its breakup in 2006.[2] After being impressed by Krysta Cameron's growl vocals, Bradley met her and chose to start rehearsing music with her.[2] In 2007, the band's first release was a self-titled EP put out by Bucket of Truth Recordings.[2]

Tragic Hero Records later re-released that EP with different cover artwork.[2][3] The EP helped the band gain a small cult following and also drew in drummer Ryan Pearson.[1] Following tours that supported the EP, Iwrestledabearonce had signed with Century Media by 2008.[4] On June 2, 2009, their first full-length album, It's All Happening, came out in the United States.[4]

During 2010, It's All Happening was re-released as a 3-disc special edition, and a free 5-track remix EP called It's All Dubstep was also put out.[5]
