The Lucha Brothers
The only team to hold AEW, Impact, ROH, MLW, PWG, and AAA World Tag Team Championships.
The Lucha Brothers are a Mexican professional wrestling tag team consisting of brothers Penta and Rey Fénix. They are signed to WWE, where Penta performs on the Raw brand and is the former one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, while Fénix performs on the SmackDown brand; and they also appear in WWE's sister promotion, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where Fénix is the current AAA World Cruiserweight Champion in his second reign. They are known for their time in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where they were former AEW World Tag Team Champions, as well as former AEW World Trios Champions with their former Death Triangle stablemate, Pac.
They also appeared for AEW's sister promotion, Ring of Honor (ROH), where they are former ROH World Tag Team Champions. In Mexico, they wrestled for AAA (which was then family-owned), where they are two-time AAA World Tag Team Champions. They previously appeared in Impact Wrestling (now Total Nonstop Action Wrestling), where they are former World Tag Team Champions (and Penta has been Impact World Champion). They also wrestled for Major League Wrestling where they held the MLW World Tag Team Championship and for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla where they won the PWG World Tag Team Championship, making them the only team to be AEW, Impact, ROH, MLW, PWG and AAA World Tag Team Champions.
Their real names are unknown, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico, where their private lives are kept a secret.

Championship Pedigree & Historic Achievements
The Lucha Brothers stand alone in professional wrestling history regarding their tag team accolades across multiple major organizations. They are the sole duo to capture world tag team gold in All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Major League Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and AAA World Tag Team Championships. In Impact, they engaged in a heated rivalry with LAX, winning the titles before losing them back in a Full Metal Mayhem match at Rebellion. Currently, their success continues into WWE and AAA, where Penta holds the Intercontinental Championship while his brother retains the AAA World Cruiserweight title, showcasing sustained excellence across different brands and promotions simultaneously.
Early Career & Independent Circuit Dominance
Both men debuted during the Battle of Los Angeles tournament that year, though their initial runs were unsuccessful until they eventually claimed the PWG World Tag Team Championship in March 2017. Their journey also included Major League Wrestling, where Pentagon initially defeated his brother Fénix upon debut before they united to win the inaugural MLW World Tag Team Championship. In AAW Professional Wrestling Redefined, Penta captured the Heavyweight title and later participated in a high-stakes Lucha de Apuestas match where his mask was at risk against Sami Callihan. They also competed for The Crash, forming La Rebelión stable and winning their tag titles before vacating due to injury.
Mainstream Promotions & Tag Team Dynamics
Their transition to major television began with Impact Wrestling in 2018 following a co-promoted event at WrestleCon. They quickly ascended to the top by defeating Santana and Ortiz for the World Tag Team Championship, defending it successfully against various opponents including Eli Drake and Eddie Edwards. Moving into All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor starting February 2019, they expanded their legacy as former Trios Champions alongside Pac within the Death Triangle stable. Their recent career chapter involves WWE, where the brothers are now split between brands; Penta competes on Raw while Fénix appears on SmackDown. This separation allows them to maintain individual momentum while remaining connected through their shared history and ongoing success in sister promotions like AAA.
Personal Lives & Lucha Libre Tradition
Adhering to traditional Lucha libre customs, the brothers keep their real names hidden from the public eye behind their masks. Despite this anonymity, it is confirmed they are biological siblings who share a unique bond, having begun training and making their professional debuts on the exact same day. Their personal residences reflect a border-region lifestyle, with Pentagón Jr. living in Tijuana, Baja California, and Fénix residing nearby in San Diego, California. This cross-border proximity supports their dual careers in American promotions while maintaining roots in Mexico. The secrecy surrounding their private lives is standard practice for masked wrestlers in Mexico, ensuring that the mystique of their personas remains intact regardless of their rising fame across international wrestling circuits.
