The plot of Planet of Lust centers on Doctor Dildo, who has captured the pleasure planet Erotica in a force field and demands the ultimate weapon, the Mind Imprinter, from the Federated Government. The player controls Brad Stallion, a freelance government agent and captain of the phallic spaceship the Big Thruster, tasked with capturing Dr. Dildo and deactivating the force field before the planet is destroyed. Gameplay combines text commands with mouse-based point-and-click interactions; movement uses arrow keys, and shortcut keys access inventory ('I'), location info ('L'), and game status ('S'). The Big Thruster's computer AI Sandie provides location-specific advice. A built-in option allows printing a transcript of the game's text.
