Synopsis

The show follows Jerry Campbell and his family in Coryell County, Texas, as they work to control the rapidly growing population of feral hogs. These hogs cause millions of dollars in damage to farms and ranches through destructive feeding, disease spread, and danger to humans and livestock. Texas permits unlimited elimination of the pigs, aiming for control rather than eradication. As Jerry ages and his mobility declines, he tries to transition his children into leading the company.

Cast

Jerry Dean Campbell, the patriarch, has hunted hogs for over forty years and previously worked as a federal hunter for the Department of Interior. He hopes to become a wild hog sausage mogul. His elder son, Robert "Hunter" Campbell, is overzealous and quick to argue. Krystal "Pistol" Campbell, the youngest, uses a six-shooter and wears pink chaps; she left with Lea Penick to form the rival outlet Wild Women Hoggers after a fallout with Jerry. Lea Penick, a married rancher and seasoned hunter, is an honorary Campbell clan member. Kathie Campbell, the matriarch, bridges the generational gap. The dogs used are Walker hounds, with lead dogs Rooster (died in season 1) and Ranger, and striker dog Big'un. Katie Ball, a former bartender and fitness model, was hired by Jerry after Krystal and Lea resigned.
