StarBeam

Synopsis

Zoey, a second-grade girl, is secretly the superhero StarBeam, who possesses super-speed, super-strength, flight, high-velocity wind breathing, and the ability to create force fields with bubbles. She inherited her powers from her mother, WonderBeam. Zoey's grandfather Gramps, her best friend Henry (who uses gadgets as the superhero Boost), and her seagull sidekick Kipper help her save the day.

Characters

Zoey/StarBeam (voiced by Nahanni Mitchell) is energetic and strong-willed, with bubble-based powers, super breath, flight, super strength, and super speed. Her suit can change for missions, such as becoming a spacesuit or a mermaid tail. Henry Blumenshine/Boost (voiced by Dean Petriw) is Zoey's best friend and the son of Mayor Blumenshine. He is scientific and down-to-earth, using high-tech gadgets instead of natural superpowers.

Gramps/AlphaBeam (voiced by Terry Klassen) is Zoey's grandfather and the father of WonderBeam. He works in Beam Control at a lighthouse, providing mission control and wisdom; he first uses a high-tech suit in the New Year's special. Kipper (voiced by Sam Vincent) is Zoey's pet seagull who accompanies her on missions, often distracted by food. Zoey's Mom/WonderBeam (voiced by Diana Kaarina) shares Zoey's powers but uses laser-based abilities, including a laser cage that nullifies superpowers.

Captain Fishbeard (voiced by Sam Vincent) is a pirate who steals shiny objects, captains the flying ship Delores, and has a gecko named Leonard.
