Episodes
In the first episode, Maddy and Frankie, two mole sisters living in a burrow beneath an old oak tree, feel a strange chill and hear whispers of a "bed full of cold aircon secrets." They pack their bags and travel through tunnels until they reach the underside of a house, where humming metal contraptions blow cold air. Maddy leads them to a hidden nook behind an insulated pipe, where they build a new home lined with moss and fabric scraps, learning to find warmth in each other's company. In the second episode, the sisters snuggle into couch cushions in a human living room, having left their burrow after rumbling monsters with screeching metal and blinding lights destroyed it. Maddy takes the edge of the couch to shield Frankie from drafts, and they treat the couch as a temporary stop on their quest for a new safe haven where they can feel the warmth of the earth again.
