Censorship

The Bob Clampett Show was one of two Cartoon Network anthology series, alongside The Popeye Show, that aired shorts uncut and uncensored. It included material that rarely aired on American television due to racially insensitive content, such as Russian Rhapsody and Bacall to Arms. However, several Clampett shorts never appeared on the show: Kristopher Kolumbus, Jr., the 1938 Injun Trouble, Pilgrim Porky, and the Censored Eleven entries Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves and Tin Pan Alley Cats. The version of Farm Frolics shown was the Blue Ribbon Merrie Melodies reissue, missing a tobacco spitting joke and a truncated beginning later found as of 2023. The violent director's cut ending of Hare Ribbin' was mentioned but not aired; the general release ending was used instead.
