Episodes

The series consists of 26 episodes, each story presented in two parts. Nine stories are adapted from the original comics: The Mystery of the Great Pyramid (based on Manetho's Papyrus and The Chamber of Horus), The Yellow Mark, Swordfish Versus Delta Red (based on The Secret of the Swordfish), The Atlantis Enigma (based on Atlantis Mystery), Heavy Weather (based on S.O.S. Meteors: Mortimer in Paris), The Infernal Machine (based on The Time Trap), The Ghost and the Necklace (based on The Necklace Affair), Professor Sató's Three Formulae (based on Mortimer in Tokyo and Mortimer vs. Mortimer), and The Francis Blake Affair.

Four new stories were created for the series: The Viking's Bequest, The Secret of Easter Island, The Alchemist's Will, and The Druid. The Viking's Bequest, the first new story, involves an Icelandic physicist who has developed a geothermal energy process and invites Blake, Mortimer, and a disguised Olrik to inspect her claims. These episodes were written by Russell Craig Richardson, who also translated all 26 episodes for U.S. and Canadian release. Icelandic authenticity was supported by Thor Tulinius, a Reykjavik-based actor, playwright and theatre director.
