Patrol 03

Plot

The series follows a trio of animal police officers—Shorty, Wilfred, and Carmen—who work as Patrol 03 in the city of Los Diablos. Most of the police force dismisses them due to their minor assignments and broken-down patrol car. The main antagonists are Police Chief Pamela Bondani, who seeks to become mayor, and her assistant Professor Molo. Bondani assigns Patrol 03 meaningless tasks to keep them occupied while she schemes to take over the city.

Characters

Shorty, a Basset Hound voiced by Sébastien Desjours (original) and Bruce Dinsmore (dubbed), is the de facto leader of the trio. His body is elastic and can stretch to a degree. Wilfred, a large rat voiced by Patrick Floersheim (original) and Rick Jones (dubbed), serves as the group's brawn due to his unusual size and strength. Carmen, a paraplegic blue fox voiced by Laurence Saquet (original) and Sonja Ball (dubbed), uses a wheelchair equipped with gadgets that aid the trio.

Police Chief Pamela Bondani, a cat voiced by Françoise Pavy (original) and Jennifer Seguin (dubbed), is the corrupt head of the police department. The trio are aware of her corruption but pretend otherwise to gather evidence against her. Lieutenant Rhino, a rhinoceros voiced by Alain Flick (original) and Terrence Scammell (dubbed), is Bondani's second-in-command; his laughter can cause earth tremors, and he is unaware of her malevolence. Alfredo is a bloodhound who serves as prison warden.

Professor Molo, a mole voiced by Vincent Violette (original) and Arthur Holden (dubbed), is an ex-convict and mad scientist who assists Bondani with schemes involving monsters or gadgets. Mayor Alexander Walrus, voiced by Jean-François Kopf (original) and Walter Massey (dubbed), trained Patrol 03 personally and uses them as spies to monitor Bondani. Snap, a crocodile voiced by Mathieu Buscatto (original) and A.J. Henderson (dubbed), is the city mechanic who provides gadgets and has a crush on Carmen.
