Sohei Dojima was the cunning, violent head of the Dojima Family in the Yakuza series, known for getting his way by any means. He is Daigo's father and Yayoi's husband. Akira Nishikiyama killed him in 1995; Shintaro Kazama, the Dojima captain, took the Dojima men into his own Kazama Family, and Kazuma Kiryu covered for Nishiki and served ten years in prison. In Yakuza 2 Kashiwagi reveals that Dojima ordered the 1980 Jingweon mafia massacre, sending Kazama and Futoshi Shimano to kill all 46 members. In Yakuza 0 he and his lieutenants fight Kiryu, Goro Majima, Masaru Sera and Tachibana Real Estate for the Empty Lot and lose it when Sera secures it.
