Lego Harry Potter: Years 5–7 is an action-adventure game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to Lego Harry Potter: Years 1–4 and was released in November 2011 for multiple platforms. The game adapts the final three books and four films of the Harry Potter series through the Lego toy line.

Gameplay
The gameplay resembles that of the previous title, with new characters, locations, and items from the last three books and four films. Online play from the earlier game is absent on PS3 and Xbox 360. Quality-of-life changes include Wingardium Leviosa no longer needing selection for building and moving objects. The open world now includes London, Platform 9 3/4, and new Hogwarts areas in free roam.
Development
After Years 1–4 was announced, speculation arose about a sequel. Warner Bros. and TT Games revealed the planned holiday 2011 release on 19 May 2011. An ad in Lego Harry Potter 2011 set instruction booklets showed Harry and Voldemort dueling. An iOS version was announced during a gameplay session. Cover art released on 1 September 2011, followed by a trailer featuring Voldemort and Bellatrix. The Mac App Store version launched 22 March 2012. An iOS port of the DS game arrived 3 May 2012, with an Android port on 28 September 2016.
Reception
Console versions received generally positive reviews, while handheld versions received mixed reviews. Metacritic scores varied by platform, with the PC version at 80% (generally favorable) and the PlayStation Vita version at 64% (mixed or average). Justin Davis of IGN gave the game 8 out of 10, praising the humorous cutscenes, film music, post-game content, and accessibility. Neil Davey of The Guardian awarded 4 out of 5 stars, noting weeks of fun in the package.
