Playing career

Läck began his minor hockey career with his hometown team, Norrtälje IK, and competed in two TV-pucken tournaments with Stockholm's second regional team. He entered junior hockey with Djurgårdens IF's organization in 2004–05, helping the club to a J18 Allsvenskan silver medal, then moved to Leksands IF at the J20 level two years later. He made his professional debut with Leksands IF's men's team in the HockeyAllsvenskan in 2006–07, appearing in three games.

The following season he played 26 games, recording a 1.96 goals against average, while still seeing junior time. In 2008–09, he established himself as Leksands IF's starter, outplaying former NHL goaltender Ed Belfour and posting a 2.02 GAA and .930 save percentage in 32 games. Despite being ranked ninth among European goaltenders by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau for the 2009 NHL entry draft, he went unselected. He then signed a two-year contract with Brynäs IF of the Elitserien on 6 July 2009, making his Elitserien debut on 17 October by relieving Jacob Markström and stopping all 18 shots in a 3–2 loss to Färjestad BK. He played 14 games as Markström's backup, registering a 2.67 GAA and .911 save percentage.

International play

Läck joined Sweden's roster for the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Germany and France. He was initially set to back up Viktor Fasth, but made his international debut during the round-robin, stopping all 19 shots in a 2-0 win over Latvia on 11 May 2017. When Henrik Lundqvist joined the team mid-tournament, Läck fell to third on the depth chart and never played again. Sweden went on to beat Canada 2-1 in a shootout on 21 May 2017 to win the gold medal.
