Arlene Fowler

Arlene Fowler (later Bellefleur) is a human waitress at Merlotte's in True Blood, played by Carrie Preston. A single mother of two who has been divorced four times, she is kind-hearted but prejudiced against vampires and openly disapproves of Sookie's relationship with Bill. In the first season she is engaged to Rene, who turns out to be a serial killer; in the second she is with Terry Bellefleur when she learns she is carrying Rene's child, and Terry accepts the baby.
