Maryann

Maryann Forrester, played by Michelle Forbes, is the main antagonist of True Blood's second season. She is not a vampire but a wealthy maenad who first passes herself off as a social worker. Drawn to Bon Temps by the energy she credits to a ritual staged by a fake voodoo doctor, she takes Tara Thornton in to live with her and introduces her to Eggs Benedict Talley, a troubled man she had taken in and used to kill several of her victims.
