Collide is an American electronic music duo formed in Los Angeles in 1992. The duo consists of vocalist kaRIN and producer Statik, whose name reflects the 'collision' of their ethereal vocals and electronic music, incorporating elements of trip hop, synthpop, and Middle Eastern music. Dissatisfied with the music industry, they founded their own label, Noiseplus Music, and have released multiple studio albums, remix albums, and cover albums.

Collide formed in Los Angeles in 1992, with their name derived from the 'collision' of musical styles, particularly kaRIN's ethereal vocals and Statik's electronic production. Their debut album, Beneath the Skin, was released in 1996, followed by a remix album, Distort, in 1998. Dissatisfied with the music industry, they started their own record label, Noiseplus Music, and released their second studio album, Chasing the Ghost, in 2000. Their third studio album, Some Kind of Strange, came out in 2003, and the following year they released the remix album Vortex, featuring remixes by artists including Charlie Clouser and Rhys Fulber.
