When Scourge arrives seeking the Transwarp Key, he threatens not just Earth but the stability of the galaxy itself.

His Terrorcons are ruthless hunters who strip worlds of resources and technology. The Autobots arrive damaged from a previous conflict, needing repairs that only Maximal knowledge can help secure. Trust is fragile between the two groups initially. Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal share similar leadership burdens but come from different eras and traditions.
