TotalEnergies

Bernaudeau's Vendée squad, from Bonjour and Europcar to the TotalEnergies name.

Team TotalEnergies is a French professional road cycling team that races as a UCI ProTeam on the Continental Circuits and rides WorldTour events such as the Tour de France when invited as a wild card. The squad traces its roots to Système U, founded in 1984, which returned in 1986 under Cyrille Guimard with Laurent Fignon and became Castorama in 1990. Jean-René Bernaudeau took charge in 1995, ran a Vendée development team while the squad was out of the top level from 1996 to 1999, and brought it back as Bonjour in 2000. It has since raced as Brioches La Boulangère, Bouygues Télécom, Bbox Bouygues Telecom and Europcar, whose sponsorship ended in 2015, then under Direct Énergie and Total Direct Énergie from 2016 before taking the TotalEnergies name.
