Production
Shortly after the renewal news broke, the celebrity contestants touched down at Inverness Airport, and during production they lodged at the Inverness Airport Courtyard by Marriott. Before the official lineup was revealed, several famous names—including Amanda Holden, Tom Hiddleston, and Danny Dyer (who had previously declined the first series)—expressed interest, but none made the final cut. Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival that same month, BBC content chief Kate Phillips promised the series would deliver “tears and surprises.”
