Plot
The Stooges, while taking a census in an apartment building, meet Mrs. Lucy Wyckoff, part of a magic duo with her husband. They learn Mr. Wyckoff is dangerously jealous and throws knives at any man he sees as a rival. When he arrives home, the trio fails to avoid him, so they flee and report his violent behavior to the police.
Production notes
Filming took place over three days in June 1950, and the title officially appears with quotation marks. According to Michael Fleming, this short was the first notably weak Three Stooges film directed by Jules White. White had been sharing directing duties with Edward Bernds, whose work showed a polish that White’s was beginning to lose.
