Plot
The Stooges’ plan to swipe a watermelon from a deliveryman goes wrong, and a cop gets involved. They end up at the Canvas Back Duck Club, a hunting outfit run by swindlers Blackie and Doyle, who trick the trio into selling memberships. Moe, Larry, and Curly, now in duck-hunting outfits, storm the police station and march into the chief’s office, where they sell memberships to the chief and the mayor, among others. When the hunting party reaches the lodge, the conmen have vanished.
An old man tells them there are no wild ducks around. Moe and Larry toss rubber decoys onto the pond. Then Curly appears, leading a flock of ducks like the Pied Piper, and guides them into the water for the hunters to shoot. The old man returns with a constable, claiming Curly stole his prize domestic ducks.
Each hunter must pay five dollars to replace them. The hunters, the old man, and the sheriff open fire on the Stooges, who escape by jumping over a bush and landing on three bucking steers.
