Background
The main mode is set in April 1973, five months before the film: Ana Flores and her college friends search for her missing sister Maria near Newt, Texas, and are captured by the family of cannibals. In each match three players are family members and four are victims, who start in the basement and must find a way out; the family must also feed Grandpa with blood. The playable family includes Leatherface, the Cook and the Hitchhiker, and Nancy, who can see where victims are and set barbed wire traps in gaps and crawl spaces. Kane Hodder plays Leatherface and Edwin Neal voices the Hitchhiker again. The game received generally positive reviews; in 2025 it was announced that it would get no further updates.
